Anastasia Fysa lives and works in Nicosia. She graduated from the University of the West of England, Bristol, with a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts (with first class). She has participated in group exhibitions both in Cyprus and overseas. Her works are held in private collections locally and abroad.

Challenging the passive elements and the formal structure of an idea, Anastasia’s work generates new possibilities and scenarios throughout her personal and social experiences.

By exploring the shape, form and even physical condition of objects through a diversity of mediums and methods, she deals with the theme of continuity and evolvement. Emotions, organic shapes in nature and intense colours own a major part in her work that often seem as a detachment from reality.
